Mount St. Rita Health Centre, a member of Covenant Health, recently welcomed a new president, director of nursing and director of mission and spiritual care to its team. They will help lead the 98-bed community, which offers short-term rehabilitation and long-term nursing care as well as palliative care, hospice support, wound care and other specialty programs.
Kerri Cerra, RN, NHA – President
As President, Cerra focuses on daily operations, strategic planning and business development. Prior to joining Mount St. Rita, Cerra served as a Director of Nursing Services at Harris Health Center and a Nursing Home Administrator at Hebert Health Center, both in Rhode Island. She holds a Master in Health Administration from St. Joseph’s College in Standish, Maine and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Rhode Island College in Providence, Rhode Island.
Alexandria Peterson, RN – Director of Nursing
Peterson drives the nursing department’s success by ensuring exemplary resident and patient care. Prior to joining Mount St. Rita Health Centre, Peterson was a Unit Manager at Dawnhill Nursing and Rehabilitation, a Health and Wellness Director at Brookdale Senior Living and a Case Manager at Amedisys Home Health, which are all in Rhode Island.
Olivia Dutra, Director of Mission and Spiritual Care
Dutra dedicates her time to ensuring Mount St. Rita’s mission, values and philosophy are entrenched in its operations, services and activities. Prior to joining Mount St. Rita, Dutra became a board-certified Chaplain through the Spiritual Care Association. She was also a Hospital Chaplain at St. Anne’s Hospital in Fall River, Massachusetts as well as a Hospice Chaplain at HopeHealth Hospice and Palliative Care in Providence, Rhode Island. She holds a Master of Arts in Divinity from Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Rhode Island College in Providence, Rhode Island.
